Biography

Queen of the Iceni, Roman seizure and flogging after her husband Prasutagus death, her daughters assaulted. She raised the tribes, Camulodunum, Londinium, Verulamium burned, 70,000 Romans and allies killed per Tacitus. Suetonius Paulinus with 10,000 legions met her horde at Watling Street, the narrow field, the slaughter. Poison rather than chains, her exact grave lost, she rides beneath the Thames in the Westminster bridge statue.
