Biography
Gustav Eriksson, the Dalarna ski legend, led the Kalmar Union breakup, Stockholm Bloodbath vengeance. Elected king 1523, Sweden independent permanently. The Reformation, church lands to the crown, the Vasa dynasty founded. He centralized, the Riksdag of four estates, copper and iron economy. His three sons each reigned, Erik XIV mad, John III Catholic leaning, Charles IX the future line, the dynasty spreading to Poland too.
