Biography

Desperate for a male heir, Henry broke with Rome, made himself Supreme Head of the English Church, dissolved the monasteries, redistributed their wealth. Six wives, two divorced, two executed, one died, one survived. Executed More and Cromwell when convenient. Built the Navy, Mary Rose, loved jousting and music. His three children, Edward, Mary, Elizabeth, each ruled, each pulled religion differently.
