Biography
Philip the Fair warred on popes, Boniface VIII seized and humiliated at Anagni, moved the papacy to Avignon under French control. He destroyed the Knights Templar 1307, Friday the 13th legend, burning Jacques de Molay. Expelled the Jews 1306, debased the coinage. He strengthened royal administration, the legists, but died cursed by the Templar master legend within the year.
